When it comes to manufacturing stuffed animals in large volumes, imported production is a very attractive option due to its competitive costs and variety of materials. This production model, ideal for companies requiring more than 1,200 pieces per model, allows access to a wider range of textiles, finishes, and customized details, which in many cases are not available in domestic production. Furthermore, unit prices are usually lower, which represents a significant advantage in terms of profitability per volume.

However, one of the most important factors to consider is delivery time. Unlike domestic production, imports can take more than 120 days, regardless of whether the order is large or small. This means that any company interested in this type of production must plan several months in advance to avoid logistical setbacks. This option is ideal for those who already have well-scheduled campaigns or seasons.

Another advantage of imported production is that it includes personalized labels within the order, which is an additional advantage if your brand needs to reinforce its identity from the product itself. Regarding sizes, the minimum size for a plush toy is 18 centimeters, but it's important to keep in mind that smaller sizes may increase the minimum number of pieces required. The standard size for minimum orders is 30 centimeters.

In order to provide an accurate quote, it is essential to develop a sample of the requested plush toy. This is because each model is unique in terms of cuts, materials, stuffing, and construction. The cost of the sample is $3,500 plus VAT, and if production is finalized, 50% of that payment (excluding VAT) is considered for the final settlement. Sample development time can vary: for domestic production, it is 25 to 35 days, while for imported production, it can take between 4 and 6 months.

Although it is sometimes possible to provide an approximate price range, it is essential to know whether the client is interested in domestic or imported production, how many pieces they wish to manufacture, and to have reference images of the plush toy. This allows for a more accurate estimate and streamlines the quoting and development process.
